Giuseppe Palermo was born in 1973 and he grew up immersed in the deep cultural suggestions of the Amalfi Coast landscape. He inherited from his father, wood sculptor, the feverish search typical of the artisan, all aimed to materials and shape. From this almost vital necessity of creating, this versatile artist is determined not to surrender to the boundaries of materials and shapes, as in the dream of an timeless child.
Pepe as an artist, craftsman and man, wants to continue provoking a public without preconceptions. In search of the meaning of its creativity, the artist extends the boundaries between the testing of materials and of techniques, leading knowledge and imagination to converge confirming the value of craftsmanship and the pleasure of the execution, giving shape to materials and drawing surfaces.
